Authorities say Charles McGlynn had phoned a family member in Endicott and was believed to be headed to the Village from his home on Hazel Drive, but never arrived.

McGlynn's wife said, while there was no formal diagnosis of any mental health issues, her husband has been acting confused lately and did not say where he was going.

McGlynn reportedly called another family member at around 3 p.m. December 25 and said he was going to the Syracuse area to look for a vehicle to buy.

McGlynn is white, about six feet tall, weighing about 150 pounds with white hair and blue eyes.  He wears glasses.  He was last seen wearing a blue jacket, white shirt and blue jeans.

The man was driving a grey 2009 Honda Civic four-door sedan with New York State registration ANW 2161.

Anyone with information about Mr. McGlynn's whereabouts is asked to call 911 and contact Vestal Police Detective Investigator Terry Kintner or Investigator Shane Rollison at (607) 754-2477.
