If you're looking for some good pasta, music and a shot at winning some cool prizes this weekend, check out a pasta benefit benefit for Jaysson Lewis at the Vestal Elks Lodge #2508 on the Vestal Parkway West this Sunday from Noon-5pm.

Jaysson is a 2007 Vestal High School graduate who was recently diagnosed with kidney failure.  Money raised from this dinner will go toward Jaysson's ongoing dialysis.

Jaysson spent over a month in the hospital at Lourdes undergoing tests, procedures, and dialysis - much of that time, he was hospitalized because it was the only way to guaruntee him access to dialysis without the insurance necessary to receive outpatient dialysis treatments. Jaysson is now undergoing outpatient dialysis three times weekly, and he is on the road to recovery. His recovery requires more than just dialysis, though - he will also need a kidney transplant.

Jaysson will be working with a team of doctors and advocates in Binghamton and Albany over the next several months to facilitate the transplant, and here's the thing, he needs your help.

One good way to help, is to pass the word on this pasta dinner benefit.  Adults pay $10.00, children 6-12 pay $5.00 and Children 5 and under can enjoy dinner for free.

Donations are also being accepted at www.youcaring.com, search Jaysson Lewis.

We wish Jaysson the very best and will keep him in our prayers.
