Vestal High School Falls Victim to Suspected Online Prank

Vestal Central School District officials woke up to quite the surprise Tuesday morning. A simple Google search for the Vestal High School turned not so simple.

When "Googling" information about the school, the suggested website button would not direct searchers to the school's official website. The google web site button would instead send curious computer users to an inappropriate website containing "not safe for work" images.

According to the Vestal Central School District Website: "We are aware of and investigating an issue with a Google search for Vestal High School that is directing users to an inappropriate website. This has been addressed with Google and the incorrect link should be disabled shortly. Thank you for your concern. "
