If you’ve ever had a brain freeze when you were trying to enter the right password into your cell to unlock it, you might like this latest invention.

Thanks to a new iris-recognition technology developed by the New York based EyeLock Corp. all you’ll have to do to unlock your phone is just look at it. The company is talking to a major wireless provider about adding the technology but they're not saying yet what provider they’re talking to.

EyeLock is also teaming with computer and electronics companies to introduce similar systems for PCs and tablets. While the feature won’t stop cellphone theft, it could make it tougher for thieves to get into the stolen property.

EyeLock says the technology is perfect for security applications because the iris has about 240 identifying marks, making a person’s iris very hard to replicate. In fact, Eyelock is already talking to banks about adding it to their ATM’s
