Tyler Farr brought his soon-to-be fiancé Hannah to the Country Countdown USA studio and Sunday night at 7, you get to meet her on 98.1 The Hawk!

Tyler gave the details of proposal to Countdown host Lon Helton:  "I called some friends over at the Ryman which we've played a few times and the Opry they hooked me up, were very nice and got me a private little setting in there where there wasn't too many people around, they were kinda doing tours but they had this part blocked off and I took her up at a stained glass window on the top story and did it there. I literally got on one knee and she didn't say anything and she just starts balling and yes! It was probably the best moment of my life up to this point."

He bought the ring from the same jeweler who sold Jason Aldean and Lee Brice their engagement rings.

Tyler has been on tour with Jason all year.  He told Lon he was at Jason's wedding in Mexico last month: "I was just in his wedding, I walked his little girl down the aisle.  Our buddy Willie Robinson officiated."

There have been some fun moments during the Burn It Down Tour.  Tyler told Lon some of the backstage jokes have spilled ON stage: "Jason does this little hop, skip, trot thing, like a Shetland pony, and I impersonate him backstage.  So one day, his production manager told me to do the impersonation thing when the three of us are on stage together.  So the next night I did it, and he just lost it during the song."

Also on the tour is Cole Swindell: "This is my first time out with Cole.  We shared a suite on the FGL cruise, and that was absolute mayhem.  I can't even talk about it.  But I'm the prankster on the road, and recently I bought him a large-figured woman blow-up doll, and put it on his bed in the back of his bus, and watched his reaction, and he didn't know what to do.  His cheeks turned bright red.  I like to mess with him a lot."

Tyler's current hit, A Guy Walks Into A Bar, is poised to go #1.  But he told us the song was almost recorded by Blake Shelton: "We were on the Burn It Down Tour last year, and Miranda Lambert joined us for a few shows. So one day, Blake was hanging around backstage, and I hear him say, 'Where's that song stealer?'  Turns out he also had the song on hold.

Tyler also has great stories this week about Tim McGraw, Thomas Rhett, Brad Paisley, Lee Brice, and Florida Georgia Line Plus Tyler gives us a tour of his new house west of Nashville, and what you're likely to see in his backyard.

Listen to Country Countdown USA Sunday night 7-10pm on 98.1 The Hawk, followed by a birthday salute to George Strait at 10pm on Retro Country USA.
