Binghamton's Hawk listeners will get their 'Sun Daze' on Sunday night at 7 as Tyler and Brian of Florida Georgia Line join us co-hosting Country Countdown USA.

We're just a few weeks into the new year, but Florida Georgia Line has already been on the road for three weeks!  It's their first major tour as headliners, so Brian & Tyler told Lon Helton they wanted to hit it as quickly as they could. "We've really been hoping to get back out on the road and burn it down.  It's been an incredible couple weeks out, the fans are just as crazy as ever, and we feel our show is better than ever too."

The guys said they're got 6 semi-trucks filled with gear, and so there were no limits to what they could do in this show:  "Anything we could think up, we tried to do this first go-round, our first big headline year.  We've got more lights, lot more smoke, and it really does seem to be on 12 this year, the energy in the room is insane, man.  It's hard not to thrive off that.  It's an amazing feeling."

What's different this time out?  "The focus of the show is to let the fans know more about who Tyler & I are.  It's a cool night.  We've set it up so they get to experience that. We get to know them better.  We can communicate with them, tell them why we love these songs, where these songs came from, we feel like when the fans they know us better than they did when they came in.  It's a cool overall night for sure."

Something new this year is their first tour of Europe: "Yeah, going to Europe is really a dream for us.  We're going to stay there for a week afterwards, and see Europe.  We've got some time off after that.  Neither of us have ever been over there, so we're looking forward to all of it."  Tyler added, "My fiancé used to live in France, so I'm leaving it up to her.  She lived there for 6 months, so I'll leave it in her hands."

Speaking of Tyler's fiancé, he got engaged to Hayley in September, and now they're busy planning the wedding: "It's been amazing, we've had a good time planning the wedding, and to be honest, I'm just blessed to have an amazing girl, so it's very exciting."  How involved are you in planning? "Probably about 5%.  Luckily I got a girl who's so good at that kind of stuff, I just sit back and let her do the thing."  With the tour going on all year, when can they find time for the wedding? "We're not exactly sure, but we think it's going to be in July."
