Twinkies: Officially Back in Stores

If you’re a Twinkies fan and shop at Wal-Mart, your nine month snacking nightmare is officially over!

I’ve never been a big fan of Twinkies, but if you are and if you've felt as though you were going through some serious withdrawal issues because of not being able to snack down on your spongy cream filled treat, I'm happy to tell you that your problems are over!

Wal-Mart got a jump on retailers by putting out Twinkies for sale on Friday, which was three days sooner than the new owners told us to expect.

It's rumored that sometime next week, the rest of the Hostess line will begin to return to store shelves.  They include Mini Muffins and Fruit Pies which will hit the stores next followed by Coffee Cakes, Ho Hos, Orange CupCakes, Suzy Qs and Zingers, which will be available by August.  Sno-Balls are expected to be back on shelves sometime this fall.
