What a season, it's been so far for the Binghamton Rumble Ponies. They've had eleven games rained-out this year with seven of them coming at NYSEG Stadium. It's hard to be consistent but the Ponies are doing very well. They are 32-21 and only two games behind the Trenton Thunder.

They split a doubleheader against the Richmond Flying Squirrels last night. In his first Double-A start, Chris Flexen tossed a complete game shutout to help the Ponies to a 3-0 victory in the nightcap.

Flexen is the fifth Rumble Pony to throw a complete game and the fourth to get a shutout. This helped to salvage the night after the Ponies lost the opener 8-2. They look to make it two in a row before they take the show on the road tomorrow.
