Train Derailment in Whitney Point Spills Debris Into The River

Yesterday around 7am a train carrying what onlookers say was debris from torn down buildings derailed in Whitney Point NY spilling the contents of 5 cars into the Tioughnioga River.

Broome County Sheriffs Department stated that the derailment was caused by the river washing out the tracks in that area.
