It looks like Carpool Karaoke has become more than just a feature on James Corden's show or a way for Team USA Olympic swimmers to let loose.  Carpool Karaoke has now become a way to raise awareness about something that plagues so many all around the world- Alzheimer's.

Mac McDermott is raising money and awareness through Just Giving for the Alzheimer's Society by showing off his father's incredible singing voice.

You see, Mac and his father, Ted, record videos of themselves singing duets Carpool Karaoke style and then share those videos on YouTube. The reason singing is so important to these men is because Ted suffers from Alzheimer's and, despite the challenges he faces every day, Ted can still sing just as well as he could when he was a young man.

Ted actually used to tour around the United Kingdom, singing in clubs when he was younger and Mac says his dad instantly comes to life whenever he hears music.

The videos have reached an incredible level of popular because of Ted's amazing voice, so Mac found a way to turn a sad situation into a good one by raising money for the Alzheimer's Society, which he says has provided so much to his family as they try to cope with Ted's horrible disease.
