Top Ten Things Binghamtonians HATE about Winter

Winter is coming.  Binghamton knows that when it shows up angry, it's the most angry way possible. Our winters in Upstate New York are super cold or drop so much snow its stupid. Besides empty parking lot, late night donuts in the car and waiting inside with a coffee to shovel after the storm. We pretty much hate it.

Here's the top 10 reasons we do:

1. That it's dark out.

2. Having cold hands and feet.

3. Shorter days and longer nights.

4. The cost of our energy bill.

5. Slow, scared out of state drivers.

6. Black ice, because you cant see the stuff.

7. Pretty much just getting out of bed in the morning.

8. Having to bundle up to go anywhere.

9. Walking in snow and slush.

10. Muddy snow. It looks awful and you cant eat it.
