Today is ‘Golfer’s Day’ [GLENN REACTS]

Golf's first major of the year, The Masters, is now underway.

Tiger Woods had 4 bogeys and 3 birdies for 1 over. Jordan Speith leads the way at 8 under. To see how your favorite golfer did, go here.

Today is "Golfer's Day." They say it's because today the first professional golf tournament began in 1916. I think it's ironic that it falls on the weekend of The Masters.

In honor of today, here are things that my playing partner, Johnny V, and I have said.

1) Glenn: I've played so badly, I'm going to drown myself in the lake.

Johnny V: I don't think you can keep your head down that long.

2) Glenn: Do you think I should take lessons.

Johnny V: Yes, Piano lessons because this golf thing isn't working for you.

3) Glenn: Do you think I can get there with my 7 iron.

Johnny V: Eventually.

4) Glenn: I'd move heaven and earth to break 100 at Belden Hill.

Johnny V: Try heaven...You've already moved most of the earth.

5) Glenn: If it starts to lightning, what should I do?

Johnny V: Hold up your 1 iron, because not even God can hit a 1 iron.
