‘Count Your Buttons’ Day
Yesterday (10/21) was Count Your Buttons Day. It's a day to count the number of buttons you have on your shirt or the number of buttons you have found in your washer.
This made-up holiday has me perplexed because I'm not sure what is supposed to be accomplished. So if I'm going to celebrate(?) and count buttons then I'm going to count the above buttons and I can stop at three. These are the three most important buttons that I have.
I do have another button that I wear around Christmas and it say's "It's Okay to say 'Merry Christmas' to me." I'm thinking about wearing it year round so that I would have a chance to explain why it's okay.
Here are other buttons you could wear:
If I want to hear the pitter patter of little feet, I'll put shoes on my cat.
Whatever kind of look you were going for...you missed.
I started out with nothing and still have most of it left.
Here's a button you could wear when your family or friends come over:
Make yourself at home. Clean my kitchen...or my bathroom.
Here's a button that Traci could wear for me:
Does your train of thought have a caboose?
My answer to that would be "NO!"
What's your favorite button?
