Tioga Downs Groundbreaking October 30th

If you're at Tioga Downs over the next week, you may notice quite a few shovels around the casino area.  That's because Tioga Downs is about to break ground with their multi-million dollar expansion on Friday October 30th at 3pm and the public is invited to be a part of this historic event.

Billed as a 'Southern Tier High Five,' owner Jeff Gural is excited to bring jobs and countless other opportunities which come with a full gaming license that was recently granted by New York State.

"We are so excited to begin transforming Tioga Downs into a world class full casino gaming resort," said Gural.  "I am looking forward to this opportunity to personally thank those who were instrumental in supporting our efforts to acquire this license."

Everyone visiting Tioga Downs that day will enjoy free cake until 10pm.  Visitors can also bring two canned goods and receive a $5 lunch or dinner buffet.  All canned goods will be donated to the Southern Tier Food Bank.
