Tioga County Murder Trial Begins

A Tioga Center man goes on trial for the 2013 stabbing death of his housemate.

62-year-old, Douglas Every, is being charged with murder and evidence tampering for the October 23, 2013 stabbing death of 39-year-old, Milton Jump.

Officials say Every called authorities following the stabbing shortly before 8 that evening.

Tioga County Sheriff’s officials found Every outside the home on Thorn Hollow Road and Jump dead in the kitchen following what had been described as a dispute between the two men.

Every has been free on $225,000 bail.
