It’s Tidbit Tuesday- where I share three little tidbits with you to make life a little easier.  Today I’ll tell you how to sleep better, feel less anxious and freshen up a musty car. So grab a cup of coffee and learn how to make life a little simpler!

Tips to sleep better - If you have a hard time sleeping at night, try these tips: Take a cold bath one hour before bed. It’s like getting hit with an elephant tranquilizer. Throw off the covers. Snoozing in a room between 67-70 degrees under just a sheet proved to be ideal.
Hydrate all night. A humidifier eliminates sinus problems that can ruin sleep.

Rearrange your sofa and feel less anxious-When you’re unable to see everything going on around you, your brain, registering “unknown – possible danger,” ramps up production of the stress hormones cortisol and adrenaline, reveals neuroscientist Esther Sternberg, author of “Healing Spaces.” That’s why she and other experts recommend rearranging your couch and other seating so it faces the door “to give you a feeling of calm.” Don’t want all your seats facing the same way? Put some toward a window: “Scenes of nature help your brain produce feel-good endorphins,” Sternberg adds.

Freshen up a musty car– Cut the foot off an old pair of panty hose and fill it with used dry coffee grounds. Then tie off the open end and leave the sack in your car’s cup holder overnight. The absorbent granules will trap the moisture and bacteria responsible for the musty smell, deodorizing your car by morning.
