It’s Tidbit Tuesday- where I share three little tidbits with you to make life a little easier.  Today I’ll tell you how to sleep better, feel less anxious and freshen up a musty car. So grab a cup of coffee and learn how to make life a little simpler!

Boost your kid’s grades - Want to see more A’s on that next report card? Sign your child up for a sport or simply encourage her to be more active, say, by riding bikes with her. A new review of 14 studies involving thousands of children of all ages concluded that the most active kids also had the best grades. Exercise increases blood and oxygen flow to the brain, which reduces stress and helps create new nerve cells that make learning easier, the researchers explain.

Turn bad luck into good luck - The next time you’re having a bit of bad luck – say, you get a ding in your car door or drop a favorite mug – go straight to a sink and wash your hands. It’ll send a subconscious message to your brain that you’re washing away the bad luck and will have only good luck from now on, reveals a study in the Journal of Experimental Psychology. As a result, you’ll feel more confident and more willing to take chances – traits that really do increase the likelihood that you’ll experience good fortune.

Find love faster online -A survey of the dating site OK Cupid reveals that people are far more likely to ask out someone whose photo was taken by a digital camera than a camera phone. The reason? Digital cameras pick up subtle colors in your skin, hair and eyes, making you look more beautiful.
