Ticketmaster Forced To Give Discounts

If you've paid outrageous fees to Ticketmaster in the past like additional "order processing" fees or exorbitant shipping costs for tickets you'll be happy to know that the lawsuit filed in 2003, Schlesinger v. Ticketmaster  that claimed these fees "are excessive and deceptive" has reached a verdict. Billboard.com reports that Ticketmaster, after losing a 13 year fight will have to make this right. Anyone who bought tickets to shows and events between October 21, 1999 and February 27, 2013 may be getting some discounts on your next ticket purchase!

If $10.5 million in discounts have not been handed out within a year, The courts are forcing Ticketmaster to offer a limited number of free tickets to the victims in the class action suit to attend events hosted inside Live Nation venues.
