There's just something about a gorgeous bad boy that makes lots of women forget common sense. Six-time convicted felon Jeremy Meeks has been causing quite a stir the past couple of days thanks to the Stockton California Police Department posting his photo on  Facebook.

Jeremy's mug shot is so steamy that it's gone viral with almost 98,000 likes, over 25,000  comments and just about 13,000 shares mostly from women totally enamored with the 30-year-old's baby blue eyes and chiseled jaw.

Women have left comments on Jeremy's mug shot like  "I would arrest him too ... hottest bad boy I've seen" and "Momma, I'm in love with a criminal."

Sometimes I feel so let down by my own gender. Did I mention that Jeremy is a hard core criminal? Sure, he's a beautiful man on the outside, but there's nothing sexy to me about glorifying crime. And not only that, but what's the message we're sending to our kids? Apparently we've got a lot of ladies with very low self worth and that makes me incredibly sad. Can we reach our teen/pre-teen girls before it's too late and they end up like those who are disillusioned?

So, how hard core of a criminal is he? A spokesperson for the Stockton Police Department says that Jeremy is "one of the most violent criminals in the Stockton area."

I grew up in a home where we didn't talk about anything but "happy" things. We didn't talk about the harsh realities of life. We didn't watch the news or read the newspaper. We didn't listen to secular music. We were taught to have open hearts for all people and that we should trust and love everyone. Boy was I in for a shock when I entered the real world and discovered that although everyone deserves love, there are some really, really bad people that we need to not associate with.  My hope is that if you're reading this and you have kids that you'll take a couple extra minutes each day to teach them not only love and acceptance, but also the dangers of real life- and most importantly- that crime is not sexy.
