Over the past few years, Brett Eldredge has become one of country music's top artists, but five years ago, he was just breaking into the industry.

As a matter of fact, Brett released a song in 2010 that didn't really do anything on the charts, but definitely should have. The song is called 'Raymond' and it's a heart grabber, that's for sure. 'Raymond' tells the story of a man named Raymond who works at a nursing home and the beautiful relationship he builds with an Alzheimer's patient who believes that he is Raymond, her son who was killed in Vietnam.

Brett has said he was inspired to write and record the song because his grandma suffered from Alzheimer's for years.  'Raymond' shows off Brett's more serious and sensitive side, but he's actually known to be more of a funny guy who posts completely random and very laughable things on social media.

Whether Brett is tackling tough subjects like Alzheimers's or showing off fun photos of his adventures with his new pup, one thing is for sure- people love the guy and this "get to know me" video of him from 2010 shows why!
