Thousands of people from all over New York descended on Binghamton to brave the cold for our 47th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday, but the cold didn’t stop the fun.

Walking the parade route, I saw lots of people bundled up in hats and gloves and blankets, but everyone appeared to have a smile on their face.

According to Fox 40, police were busy this year. Fox 40 says there were 15 misconduct arrests Saturday between 3pm and 3am, but that police say this year's parade was no worse than any other year.

The parade was a bit smaller this year, but lots of fun was still packed into it. There were over a dozen floats, seven bagpiper bands, Irish dancers and a whole bunch of dressed up people who walked the mile long route.

My favorite thing that happened during the parade was when someone wearing a horse head jumped on the unsuspecting Rich Birdsall.  Made me think of the song "Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy."
