‘Think of You,’ Think of Chris Young This Weekend

Chris Young has a strong fan presence in the Binghamton area.  Whenever Chris releases a new song, I hear from these CY fans immediately, requesting that I play his music.  As a huge CY fan myself, this is no problem for the Hawk.

This weekend, Chris Young fans will love to hear 3 hours hours of Chris, Sunday night 7-10pm on Country Countdown USA as he shares stories about being on the ACM Awards in Las Vegas where he also played pool with Chase Bryant all night.

Chris was saving his energy and his voice for his performance of "Think Of You" with Cassadee Pope on the ACM Awards show.  "It felt really good.  This song is so vocally powerful, we wanted it to live up to that on the show.  I want my live show to sound like the record, and I think we did a pretty good job of that."

Chris had two ACM nominations this year, including Album Of The Year, and he told Lon Helton that particular nomination meant a lot: "I took a risk and it paid off.  A lot of people asked me if the Album nomination was validation.
