Thefts in Owego Lead Police to Issue Warning

The Owego Police Department tells us they’re investigating a number of thefts that occurred during the overnight hours of Wednesday August 20th.

Unknown people entered locked vehicles and searched for items to steal. Things stolen include small amounts of cash, GPS Systems, cameras and tools. A few of the stolen items have been found.

Police remind residents to lock their vehicles and remove anything of value from sight.

Anyone who has any information on the recent thefts is asked to call the Owego Police Department at 607-687-2233.
