On tonight's (Dec. 11) elimination episode of 'The Voice,' Blake Shelton's team, featuring Cassadee Pope and Terry McDermott, remained in tact. Both Pope and McDermott are moving on to next week's finals, doubling the country star's chances of being the show's winning coach for a second season in a row. Shelton could make 'The Voice' history and he's gunning for it.

Scottish rocker McDermott was revealed as the first finalist, which isn't a shock, since his voice is so perfect, it almost sounds like it's not real. He's been both a fan and a coach favorite since the day we met him and he first opened his mouth to sing. Plus, he has such market viability as a modern rocker. He will be competing against his own Team Blake cohort Pope.

She was actually the second finalist announced, so we knew early on that Team Blake would have two competitors in the finals, which is something we've been predicting all along.

We almost feel bad for Shelton, since he has two incredibly talented people going up against one another in the finals. He was visibly thrilled that both his "kids" made it. Anyone else imagining his wife Miranda Lambert watching at home, screaming, shouting and stamping her feet with joy over these stellar results?

McDermott and Pope will go against Team Cee Lo's remaining contestant Nicholas David. The extremely talented Trevin Hunte was sent home.
