A recently released clip of the upcoming season of The Voice shows Blake Shelton rocking out during a performance alongside the other three coaches.

It looks like Shelton is having the time of his life performing alongside Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine and Pharrell Williams. Each season of The Voice kicks off with a performance given by the coaches. This year, the four coaches chose to sing Lenny Kravitz's 1993 song, "Are You Gonna Go My Way." The video shows Shelton belting out the song as he plays the guitar.

If the teaser is any indication, season eight is guaranteed to be full of energy, pizzazz and pure talent. Shelton has been part of The Voice since it first premiered in 2011. His teams have won four out of the seven seasons.

"I love it so much, and I made some of the most important relationships in my life by being a part of that show, with some of the coaches, some of the people who just came to perform, but mostly those who have been on my teams over the year… they're my family now," the 38-year-old musician tells Rolling Stone Country. "It would break my heart to not be there. At this point, to see somebody else sittin' there in my chair doing that job — I think I would never be able to watch it without being jealous."

The new season will premiere on Feb. 23, 2015. Blake Shelton fans should tune in to NBC to watch him coach a new round of singers.
