Your home is a place where you feel safe, so shouldn’t your hometown make you feel safe, too?

National Night Out, an event created by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW) in 1984, is now celebrated by over 37.8 million people and 16,124 communities from all fifty states, U.S. Territories, military bases, and even Canadian cities worldwide.

Promoting anti-crime awareness and support within our community, National Night Out creates a sense of neighborhood spirit and builds police-community relationships by hosting entertainment at several city parks and locations. NATW’s original mission in celebrating National Night Out was to send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back, hopefully bringing up a generation of informed and anti-crime youth.
