I attended the B.C. Humane Society's Wine Tasting And Silent Auction Benefit on Sunday night at Terra Cotta. I love animals and wouldn't have missed this for the world. Lots of people I knew and more I didn't showed up! There was live music by A Country Mile and lots of awesome things up for silent auction. The food was awesome, lots of finger foods including sliced beef sandwiches.

I ran into my friend Danielle Finch! You might remember me calling her out on the radio for the "boots with shorts" scenario? We all had lots of fun and all of the proceeds from the evening went directly to the Humane Society. Their mission is to be dedicated to the prevention of animal cruelty and finding permanent, loving homes for companion animals. They service the community by sheltering animals, finding them homes, investigating reports of animal cruelty, educating people of all ages, and rescuing animals from life threatening situations. The Humane Society is an independent, non-profit animal welfare organization that receives no government funding. All the help they can get is very appreciated. If you would like to help out with donations, volunteer at the Humane Society or find yourself a great new family member. Please visit them online at: www.bchumanesoc.com or visit them at their 2 Jackson Street location in Binghamton. Anything you can do to help is great. These animals need you.
