The Color Run is returning to the SUNY Broome campus on Saturday, May 7th. MHAST is the charity of choice again for the third annual run. They've partnered with SUNY Broome to bring the event to the campus.

Last year, there were over 5,500 participants and they raised almost $50,000 for the agency over the last two years.

There are two rules: Wear white at the start line and be a rainbow of color at the finish. Participants are doused in harmless, non-toxic paint which is colored corn starch. It's an untimed race and is called the "Happiest 5k on the Planet."

It celebrates health, happiness, individuality and giving back to the community. This year, the event will adopt a "Tropicolor" theme with leis, inflatable palm trees and a rainbow beach with sand.

Not only do they need participants but they need volunteers as well. You could be the first face that the runners see. You could be the one handing out water.

Or maybe you want the dirty job...clean-up. Somebody's got to do it and it could be you as part of the cleanup crew. But it all starts with you going here to register.

Hope to see you ther
