You've heard the term "Find my happy place." Here's a place that will make you happy and you'll help out a great cause at the same time. It's The Color Run’s sixth visit to Binghamton and the 2019 Love Tour.

If you've never heard of the Color Run, you start out wearing white and end the 5K course looking like a rainbow. You run through different color zones where the volunteers toss color (non-toxic, colored cornstarch) onto the runners.

It's a unique paint race that celebrates healthiness, happiness, and individuality. This year, they will team up again with Mental Health Association of The Southern Tier (MHAST).

100% of the money they receive for the Color Zone and Color Throw Sponsorship's stays in out community to assist MHAST in the work that they do in our area.

Go here to register and pick the option that works best for you. The campus of SUNY Broome will come alive with colors of the rainbow.

The event begins at 9 a.m. this Sunday July 14th and VOLUNTEERS ARE STILL NEEDED!! Anyone age 14 and over are welcome. Shifts are available on the SUNY Broome campus before, during and after the event.

If you have any questions, you can contact Joanne Weir at MHAST by calling (607) 771-8888 ext 336. Go here now to volunteer and tell them you are volunteering with the Mental Health Association.
