The 2015 Hess Toy Truck is Back, Even Though Hess Stations No Longer Exist

Hess gas stations are no more, recently replaced with the Speedway name. Speedway has more than 2,700 locations in 22 states. Before the Hess deal, it was primarily based in the Midwest.The business is part of Marathon Petroleum, one of the largest oil refiners in the country.

Many have been wondering if the demise of the famous yet weird marketing ploy of the Hess Toy Truck would take place. Nope! They will still be sold at Hess retail stores and online this year.

Hess said this year will mark the 50th anniversary of the toy trucks, an institution on the East Coast, where TV commercials promoting each year's entry are commonly seen.

The new Hess toy truck, the 2015 Fire Truck and Ladder Rescue will be available online . Part of the promotion will include select boxes randomly containing one of one hundred silver edition Trucks.
