"Time" magazine issued its annual list of "The 15 Most Influential Fictional Characters of the Year" and I don't think it'll come to anyone's surprise that Elsa from "Frozen" took the top spot. Here's the rest of the list:

1. Elsa from "Frozen", which by the way has become the highest-grossing animated movie of all time and the fifth highest-grossing movie overall. "Frozen has made an estimated $1.3 BILLION worldwide.

2. The "Kim Kardashian" avatar from her mobile game "Kim Kardashian Hollywood", which has raked in more than $200 million since its release in June. I'm just as confused about this one as you are.

3. Chris Pratt's character Star-Lord from "Guardians of the Galaxy".

4. "Stephen Colbert" the fictional conservative Stephen portrays on "The Colbert Report," a show that wrapped up on the 18th of December. Colbert will be taking over for David Letterman next year.

5. Jack Gleeson's character King Joffrey from "Game of Thrones".

6. Jeffrey Tambor's transgender character Maura Pfefferman from the Amazon show "Transparent".

7. Jennifer Lawrence's character Katniss Everdeen from "The Hunger Games." This was pretty much a gimme.

8. The computer-animated Japanese "pop star" Hatsune Miku.

9. Viola Davis' character Annalise Keating from "How to Get Away with Murder".

10. Thor, who is played by Chris Hemsworth in the movies. The reason Thor made the list this year is because of the actual Marvel comic, which has re-envisioned him as a woman. Say what?!?

11. Matthew McConaughey's character Rust Cohle from "True Detective".

12. Mr. Poo from the UNICEF public service video "Take the Poo to the Loo," the goal of which was to keep people from defecating in public in India, where that's become a huge problem.

13. Rosamund Pike's character Amy Dunne from "Gone Girl".

14. Cristin Milioti's "Mother" character Tracy McConnell from "How I Met Your Mother".

15. Hello Kitty, who turned 40 this year. Hello Kitty was in the news this year because word got out that she was not actually a cat, but a human girl who lives with her family in suburban London. And then the company behind Hello Kitty sort of back tracked and  clarified that she's actually an "anthropomorphized animal," like Mickey Mouse.
