It's a 'Thank You Dinner for All Our Military' tonight at the Johnson City Elks.

I'm so proud of my daughter Tara. Wednesday was Veterans Day and she thanked many Veterans for their service.

We went to breakfast in the morning and she saw a gentleman with a Navy ball cap on. She asked me if I thought he was in the Navy. I said "Yes," she got up and went and thanked him for his service.

He said that he was there for the free breakfast, she told him that he deserved more then that. I think she was gonna pay for it.

That night we were at the Binghamton Senators hockey game, she saw a guy with an Army sweatshirt on. She went and shook his hand and thanked him for his service as well.

Tonight we can say "Thanks" again. Thanks to the Veterans, Active/Reserve/National Guard Service Personnel, and their families.

It's at the Johnson City Elks Lodge, 4212 Watson Blvd (across from the old IBM Country Club).

It's from 5-7p. It's Spaghetti with meat sauce. It includes salad, bead and homemade dessert.

Bring your military ID card, Broome County Veterans ID Card, VA Healthcare Card or DD form 214 and you'll get a free meal. All others including family and friends are welcome.

It's only $6 per adult, $3 for children, 4 and under are free. Come join them as they celebrate your service.
