Taste of the Best to Benefit Boys and Girls Club of Western Broome

Taste of the Best is back for the 14th year to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Western Broome.

This annual fundraising event will take place on Monday, November 16th at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church Hall, 701 West Main Street in Endicott, starting at 6pm and features a silent and a live auction, as well as an hors d'oeuvres and dessert competition among local chefs. This event will be judged by a variety of local celebrities.

Proceeds from this event will allow the Boys and Girls Club of Western Broome to continue operation. They receive grants for some of their programs, but operation costs aren't included in many of those grant qualifications. Costs have continued to rise to keep up with power, heating and cleaning services and the Club must rely on fundraisers such as this one to keep thing sin operation.

All proceeds from the Taste of the Best will be used to help fund their programs as well as updates and operating costs.

Those in attendance will have the chance to sample hors d'oeuvres and desserts from the competition. Tickets are $40 per person and can be bought by calling the Boys and Girls --Club of Western Broome at 607-754-0225.
