Suzie the Elf on the Shelf Plays the Flute

In case you missed my original blog about the return of our favorite elf, Tara has a Elf on the Shelf named Suzie. Suzie is supposed to watch Tara by day and report to Santa at night. So naturally, Tara loves doing things for Suzie!

I love Suzie too but sometimes when I watch her, I feel like she's judging me. She just sits and stares, sits and stares. But I digress.  I do know this, Suzie appreciates music.

Yesterday, Suzie was in the Christmas tree. Tara was practicing her flute next to the tree so that Suzie could watch and enjoy. Well, I think she enjoyed it a little too much.

This morning, Suzie decided that she wanted to play the flute too! This was good news for Suzie, but bad news for Tara. If you remember, we aren't allowed to touch Suzie otherwise she'll lose her magic. This means Tara can't play her flute today (Oops). I'm happy that the Christmas concert isn't until next week and band practice/lesson isn't until Friday! Whew.
