Broome-Tioga BOCES is hosting their annual Oak Tree Celebrity Pasta Dinner tonight, from 6pm-8pm in the Leslie F. Distin Education Center cafeteria at 435 Glenwood Road, Binghamton.

Oak Tree is the name of BOCES' program for children with autism. In addition to its classroom wing at BOCES's Glenwood education center, Oak Tree offers programs and services at several area schools.

The cost for the Oak Tree Celebrity Dinner is $7 for adults, $4 for kids ages 4-12 and children under 3 are free and tickets are available at the door.

You can take your food to go, but wouldn't it be more fun to eat in and be served by us? My daughters, Riley and Tara along with my niece, Braedyn will be helping me this year.

Dinner includes, penne pasta with sauce (with or without meatballs), as well as a tossed salad, freshly baked rolls, hot or cold beverage and choice of dessert.

Dinner will be served this evening from 6pm-8pm with special appearances from several political figures, television personalities and of course, us!

You can also meet Oak Tree's own 'Carrie Underwood', 'Eric Church' and 'Megan Trainor.'  Also 'Anna', 'Elsa', 'Princess Fiona' and 'Snow White'.

I suggest that if you can, come closer to 7pm. The first wave starts at 6 and it's really busy in the beginning. My family is coming around 7. There will be basket raffles as well and it's all to benefit the Oak Tree Program.

You don't need to cook tonight. Come enjoy good food for a great cause and help make this another successful Oak Tree event.

See ya tonight!
