So last night the Binghamton Rumble Ponies split a double-header against Akron. The first game was the completion of the suspended game from Monday. Akron won the game 6-3 but it was the nightcap that has everyone talking.

The Ponies roll to a 13-0 seven inning win with PJ Conlon throwing his third shutout of the season. He became the first Binghamton pitcher in 24 years to throw three shutouts in one season. By the way, Bobby Jones holds the record for throwing zeros in a season when he had four in 1992.

Binghamton tied the franchise record for their largest shutout win. It's been done twice and both times it was in 1995.

They look to keep things going with another make-up doubleheader today. It's going to be a warm day with temperatures in the mid 80's and the Binghamton Rumble Ponies have found a way to help keep you cool with Super Splash Day.

There will be sections at the ballpark where they'll be "splashing" you with cool water. The start time has been pushed up an hour and will begin at 12:05.
