For the second straight time, Youth Night at Five Mile Point Speedway was rained out. So they'll try it again on Tuesday, July 25th and hopefully the third time is the charm. The great news is that the weather looks good for Sunday with no rain for Race 2 of the Summer Slam Series at Five Mile Point.

Here's some more incredible news. Brett Hearn is gonna be there. He's had an incredible dirt Modified career and he's been named as one of the original “50 Greatest Drivers of All-Time” at Five Mile Point Speedway.

The race is a non-handicapped event which means it'll be a draw for the starting positions. The 30 lap Modified feature event will pay $4,000 to the race winner and Mike Colsten is the points leader after one race.

Kids 12 and younger will be admitted free. Pit gates open at 3 pm with grandstand gates opening at 4 pm. Hot laps at 5 pm and racing begins at 6 pm.
