It's Good News Monday, and for all you Star War fans out there, today is really your day.

It's a Star Wars holiday! May the 4th, be with you.

We assume you know why but you know what happens when you assume so here ya go.

The phrase, "May the force be with you", is a famous quote often spoken in the Star Wars films. Fans commonly say, "May the fourth be with you", today.

But did you know that Star Wars fans weren’t the first to introduce the phrase?

When Margaret Thatcher was elected Britain's first female Prime Minister on May 4, 1979, her party placed an advertisement in The London Evening News that said, "May the fourth be with you, Maggie. Congratulations."

On May 4th  2011, the first organized celebration of Star Wars Day took place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the Toronto Underground Cinema.

Festivities included an Original Trilogy Trivia Game Show; a costume contest with celebrity judges; and the web's best tribute films, mash-ups, parodies, and remixes on the big screen.

I know my brother-in-law is looking forward to the next Star Wars movie: Episode VII The Force Awakens in December. I'm looking forward to the parody movie: The Farce Awakens....to use the bathroom.  If there not making that movie then they should.

So for all you Star Wars geeks, I mean fans, enjoy your special day!
