We all know by now that May 4th is known as Star Wars Day. Did you know that Darth Vader was Superman's personal trainer? It's true, find the answer at the end of the story.

TBS will celebrate Stars Wars day beginning at midnight with the airing of the first eight movies beginning with Star Wars: The Phantom Menace and ending the day with Rouge One: A Star Wars Story at 9 p.m.

They've made it an annual TV tradition like Christmas Story on Christmas Eve. I know that makes my brother-in-law Johnny V very happy because now he has a good reason to wear his Wookie and Jedi Knight costume.

I'm not sure but I think he got his wife a Princess Leia outfit for Mother's Day again this year (somehow last year's gift disappeared) but don't tell Laurie because he wants it to be a surprise. He's in for a surprise but not the kind he's hoping for but I digress.

May the 4th kicks off a month of Star Wars celebrations including George Lucas's birthday on May 14th. The seven live-action movies of the Star Wars saga debuted in May and it began with the original Star Wars on May 25th, 1977.

On May 4th, 1979, Margaret Thatcher was elected Britain's first female Prime Minister. Her party put an advertisement in the newspaper that said "May the fourth be with you, Maggie. Congratulations."

If you really want to mess with a Star Wars fan, tell them to "Live long and prosper." On St. Patrick's Day, everyone is Irish, so today we are a little geeky. In the case of my bro in law, a little geekier than normal.

So now the answer: David Prowse is the guy who played Darth Vader in the original Star Wars trilogy and was a weightlifting champion. He also helped Christopher Reeve bulk up for his role in Superman. So that means, Darth Vader was Superman's personal trainer.
