I want to say a big thanks to Sean Harrigan.  He was telling me that Lyme Disease is huge in our area but people don't know what to do or where to turn.

The Southern Tier Lyme Group is a support group for people with Lyme Disease and their families (children welcome as well).  People know what you're going through and have gone through the trials and tribulations of finding relief. They offer first hand information, guidance and support for issues and treatments surrounding Lyme Disease.

They are having an open informational meeting on Thursday at City Light Cafe, 254 Washing Street in Binghamton at 7pm. They'll give you info on what to look for and how to try and avoid it and much more.  You contact Sean at stlymegroup@ymail.com for more information.  You can also join their mailing list at that address to keep you informed.  Of course if you think you've been bitten by a tick, you should contact your doctor as soon as possible.
