I absolutely love Reddit. Reddit has an allure much like Facebook where you intend to look at a friend's profile and end up trolling their college roommate's best friend's sister's profile and it's also much like YouTube where you go to watch one video and end up watching all the kitty videos.

I'm a bit embarrassed to admit how much time I've spent on Reddit, but it's fascinating to me because of threads like the one I stumbled on a few days ago. This thread discussed things that millennials will be most embarrassed by 20 years from now.

According to Webster's Dictionary, a millennial is a person who was born in the early 1980s to 2000, which I think is a bit broad. I was born in 1980 and when I was growing up, I was referred to as 'Generation X.' I'll keep it.

Anyway, here are some of the answers that people gave on things they think millennials will be embarrassed by when they're older:

1. Man buns
2. Skinny jeans
3. Posting stuff on social media without a second thought
4. Memes
5. All the hours wasted by staring at a screen
6. The phrase “yolo”

I totally agree with all of those things. I'd also add using the words 'cray' and 'bae." I just don't get it. Maybe it's because I'm getting older, but I don't understand why someone would say or write 'cray' instead of just adding one extra letter to say 'crazy' which is what 'cray' stands for. Some sources claim 'bae' stands for 'before anyone else,' while others say that it's Danish slang for 'poop.'  We definitely had our share of slang words when I was a teen in the 90s, so I don't have room to judge, but 'bae' is just one of those words that I can't bring myself to use.
