We're pretty excited that Jason Aldean will be counting down the week's top 30 country hits Sunday night 7-10pm with Lon Helton on the Hawk's 'CMT Country Countdown USA.'

With five weeks to go before the 50th Annual ACM Awards, Jason Aldean is honest when he talks about which of his three nominations he'd most like to win: "I want the one that I haven't won yet!  The one that we haven't gotten our hands on yet is that Entertainer, and that's the big one, there's a reason why they give it out last.  It's nice to be one of a handful of guys who will even have a chance at it.  And I just want one.  I just want it one time.  After that you don't have to nominate me any more."

Jason is nominated with Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Miranda Lambert, and Garth Brooks.  Jason had this to say about Garth: "He may get it again this year, who knows?  That's an elite fraternity for sure, and to be in that is pretty special."

Back in December, Garth had kind words for Jason.  Lon played Garth's words for Jason: "I like to thank people who open doorways.  Rarely do you hear an older guy talkin' how a younger guy opens a doorway.  This guy hit on a nerve with 'She's Country.'  It was harder than anything Garth Brooks did, and I like that."

Jason's response: "It trip me out that Garth even knows who I am.  That's one of the ultimate compliments I've ever received.  Coming from him means a lot.  We didn't think we were opening doors, we just expressed ourselves.  That's the way music is in general, you have to have a few trailblazers.  So to hear a compliment like that from Garth means a lot to me."

Jason Aldean's Burn It Down Tour will continue through October.  Plus he'll join Kenny Chesney for some special stadium shows this summer.

Jason also has great stories about tour-mates Cole Swindell & Tyler Farr, Florida Georgia Line, Dierks Bentley, Thomas Rhett, and Alabama's Randy Owen, who was a surprise guest at Jason's Nashville show.
