Shangri-La II Has Its Roc-N-Concrete Rumble On Sunday

It looks like it's going to be a real nice weekend outdoors.  It looks like some of the local race tracks finally will have a nice weekend for fans to sit and enjoy.

Last weekend, Shangri-La II in Tioga Center was supposed to have their opening weekend with the Roc-N-Concrete Rumble.  However the Rumble of thunder and rain had Mother Nature winning out over the Mother's Day weekend. So they will have their season opener this Sunday.

The Modifieds have been added to the Late Model, Street Stock, and 4 Cylinder line-up. The Race of Champions Pavement Modified Series will make their first of three appearances at the track.

There is a practice session scheduled for Saturday with practice lasting from 4:00 pm until dark.  The Pit gate opens at noon on Sunday.  Grandstand gate opens and Hot Laps begin at 1:00 pm. Racing gets the green flag at 3:00 pm. Kids under sixteen are always admitted free.
