Rocketfest at Vestal’s Kopernik

I love the Kopernik Observatory in Vestal.  I have many great memories visiting this science center as a kid.  If you're looking for a fun and different activity to do as a family, check out Rocketfest 2015 this Saturday.

In it's 7th year, Rocketfest is a near sell out but there are a few more slots if you hop right on it.  There will be three rocket building/launching workshop times and a variety of rocket models from which to choose. If you've always wanted to build a rocket but never have,  let Kopernik’s rocket scientists guide you through the entire process.

The Kopernik Observatory and Science Center is located at 698 Underwood Road in Vestal.  Standard rocket kit is $30, with the advanced kit is $40.  Each includes two admissions.  See Kopernik web site for registration form and availability or call 607-748-3685.
