What a great way to wrap up the Summer, you can "Rock Out" with the Binghamton Zoo on Monday, September 4th. It's happening at the Ross Park Amphitheater from 12 pm to 7pm. It's the 2nd Annual Rock and Roar Music Festival.

The date has been moved to Monday from Sunday because of the weather.

Local bands will be performing for a night of music and fun. It's a family friendly event so make a day of it. Voodoo Highway will be the host band with Bess Greenberg, Pool, Devinne Meyers, Next To Kin, Woodshed Prophets, Voodoo Highway and Company(Grateful Dead Tribute), and Raibred also performing.

Artists from The Fine Arts Society of the Southern Tier will be painting and selling original works of art. You'll be able to see it all on display throughout the day.

Admission is free, and seating is first come, first served. No alcohol is permitted at the amphitheater during this event. The admission gates will be open from 10 am – 4 pm with the zoo closing at 5 pm. The Binghamton Zoo is located at 60 Morgan Road.
