Here's something you may not know about me.  I once dabbled in art.  Now, I was no Pablo Picasso or anything but I had a good time taking a few art classes when I attended high school at Seton Catholic Central and way back at Camp Arbak and somewhere in between there, I took a couple memorable art class at Roberson.

One of my earliest exposures to art was through the Roberson Museum and Science Center Arts and Crafts Festival.  I remember fondly my Mom and Dad taking me along as they bought a few paintings by local artists.  I was really there for their fascinating planetarium but I also enjoyed the local artists, something that the Greater Binghamton area can really be proud of.

The Roberson tradition continues next weekend, Saturday September 21st and Sunday the 22nd with the Two Rivers Fine Arts & Crafts Festival, bringing together stunning original works from regional artists, crafts, great food and plenty of fun.

Saturday's event runs 10-5 on Saturday and 10-4 on Sunday with free admission both days.  For more information and to check the list of participating artists, click HERE.  Hopefully I'll see you there!
