Authorities are offering a $5,000 reward as they try to find a Binghamton man after he didn't show up to testify in a murder trial in Broome County Court.

20-year-old Valentino Francis Mondolfi is being sought because he is a material witness in an ongoing trial. The reward is being offered by the district attorney's office and the Binghamton Police Department after a warrant was issued for Mondolfi's arrest.

Mondolfi's last known address was 124 Mason Avenue on Binghamton's East Side. He's described as white; about five feet, six inches tall; 140 pounds; with brown eyes and black hair.

According to pressconnects, Mondolfi is a witness in the trial of 21-year-old Jabari Ashe, who is accused of fatally shooting Tyquan Gumbs. The April 28 attack happened near an apartment housing at 10 Fayette Street.

People with information about Mondolfi's whereabouts may contact the Binghamton police detective bureau at 607.772.7080.
