Is there anything Reba McEntire can't do?

Singing and acting are no-brainers for the country legend, but this video also shows her as a rodeo star (well, sort of).

According to the description in the YouTube video, uploaded by Clark Elsberry, McEntire was hosting a rodeo event when the crowd persuaded her to show some of her own tricks. McEntire, being the ultimate showperson that she is, barrel raced a horse with great control and even rode one-handed to show off for the crowd on her final lap.

Needless to say, it wasn't McEntire's first rodeo. She was an avid barrel racer as a youngster, and her participation in the rodeo actually led to a major break in her music career. While singing the National Anthem at the National Finals Rodeo in Oklahoma City in December of 1974, McEntire was discovered by singing star Red Steagall. She was signed to Nashville's Mercury /PolyGram Records by late 1975.

According to the Boot, McEntire and her family were also so well-traveled on the rodeo circuit that "by the time McEntire had her first tour bus, she was better at reading road maps than her bus driver."

Her grandfather, John McEntire, also won a steer roping world title in 1934, while her father Clark McEntire was a three-time world champion steer roper, earning titles in 1957, 1958 and 1961. Though McEntire doesn't have any steer roping championships of her own, she has enough country music hardware to make up for it.

The country star recently wrapped up her 2017 live schedule and returns to the stage in March.
