Reasons To Celebrate Groundhog Day
It only took 131 years but this holiday may have finally made it. How do we know? How about when they run a movie marathon in honor of the day! For years, we've been able to watch "A Christmas Story" all day on Christmas Day.
That's what has happened to Groundhog Day. Now we can enjoy "Groundhog Day" on AMC all day long. So that is one reason to celebrate Groundhog Day but here are some others:

It's a holiday that's over early.
If you've ever gone to Gobbler's Knob, you'll enjoy music and fire barrels. Phil tells the Inner Circle if Spring is coming and that's it. It's 7:30 and time to get off the hill.
If you've never gone to Gobbler's Knob for Groundhog Day, you should. Go early, stay at a Bed and Breakfast. If you can't make it to Punxsutawney to see Phil, this is what it's like.
