Raymond Corporation in Greene Celebrates Expansion

Raymond Corporation in Greene is celebrating its recent growth.

The company that makes fork lifts and other material handling devices unveiled a new 47,000 square foot facility October 3.

The space allows the corporation to move its administration operations off the manufacturing area.

During the celebration, company officials said it is a global leader in manufacturing and has doubled its number of employees in the past six years.

Officials say they plan to continue to improve the Chenango County plant and include better break rooms and a fitness area.
